RCC cost per cubic feet/ per sq ft/ per cubic meter

Hello, guys in this article we are going to discuss RCC cost per cubic, RCC cost per cubic ft, and RCC cost per cubic meter. After reading this article you can find out how to calculate RCC cost per cubic foot. The cost of RCC concrete depends on many factors. Like which grade of concrete has been used, The size of the steel bar that is to be used in RCC, labor and material cost, etc.

In the construction of buildings, different types of RCC structures uses. Like Footing, Column, Beam, Slab, etc. The grade of concrete that is used in construction is different according to the structure types. Because the thumb rule decides the concrete grade for every type of structure. In RCC structures steel bars uses, and the required quantity of steel bars is different for different types of structures.

RCC cost per cubic feet/ per sq ft/ per cubic meter

RCC Slab cost per cubic meter

Let’s Assume we have to calculate 1000 sq ft area of the slab, which thickness is 4 inches. For the construction of the slab M20-grade concrete uses.

M20 Grade concrete mix ratio = 1:1.5:3, Where 1 part is cement, 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate.

There are thumb rules for the various types of raw material

  • For the construction of the RCC slab, 80 kg of Steel will require per cubic meter.
  • For the construction of the RCC slab, 5kg of cement will require per sq ft.
  • For the construction of the RCC slab, 0.175 CFT of sand will require per sq ft.
  • For the construction of the RCC slab, 0.350 CFT aggregate will require per sq ft.
  • Labour and shuttering charges are 70 INR per sq ft.

The volume of RCC concrete slab = area of slab × Thickness of the slab
= 1000 × 4/12
= 1000 × 0.333 = 333.33 = 333 CFT.

Now, we have to convert the volume CFT to cubic meters.
We know 1 cubic meter = 35.32 CFT.
So, we have to divide 333 by 35.32.

Hence, 333 ÷ 35.32 = 9.42 cubic meters.

Cost of Steel required for 1000 sq ft RCC slab

We have already told you 80 kg of steel requires per cubic meter for the RCC slab.

Therefore, the required steel quantity for 1000 sq ft = 80 × 9.42
= 753.6 = 754 kg.

Suppose the steel price is 80 INR per kg, then the cost of 754 kg steel = 754 × 80 = 60320 INR.

Cost of Cement required for 1000 sq ft RCC slab

We have already told you 5 kg of cement requires per sq ft for the RCC slab.

Therefore, the required cement quantity for 1000 sq ft = 1000 × 5
= 5000 kg.

1 bag of cement contains 50 kg cement, So 5000 ÷ 50 = 100 bags.

Assume the market price is 400 INR for 1 bag of cement, So the price of 100 bags of cement = 400 × 100 = 40000.

Cost of Sand required for 1000 sq ft RCC slab

We have already told you 0.175 CFT of sand requires per sq ft for the RCC slab.

Therefore, the required sand quantity for 1000 sq ft = 1000 × 0.175
= 175 CFT.

Assume the market price of sand per CFT is 70 INR, So the 175 CFT sand price = 175 × 70 = 12250 INR.

Cost of aggregate required for 1000 sq ft RCC slab

We have already told you 0.350 CFT of aggregate requires per sq ft for the RCC slab.

Therefore, the required aggregate quantity for 1000 sq ft = 1000 × 0.350
= 350 CFT.

Assume the market price of aggregate per CFT is 80 INR, So the 175 CFT aggregate price = 350 × 80 = 28000 INR.

Labour and shuttering cost for 1000 sq ft RCC slab

Labour and shuttering cost is around 70 INR per sq ft. So the labor and shuttering cost of 1000 sq ft = 1000 × 70= 70000.

The total cost of 1000 sq ft RCC slab = steel cost + cement cost + sand cost + aggregate cost + labor and shuttering cost.

= 60320 + 40000 + 12250 + 28000 + 70000
= 210570.

The total cost of a 1000 sq ft RCC slab is 210570 INR If the slab thickness is 4 inches.

Total cost of RCC slab per sq ft = 210570 ÷ 1000 = 210.57 = 210 INR.

RCC Slab cost per square foot

The RCC cost per square foot is approx 210 INR. This cost includes steel, cement, sand, aggregate, shuttering, labor, and machinery cost. This RCC cost is not the fixed cost. Because RCC cost can differ according to places, availability of materials, and many other factors.

RCC Slab cost per cubic feet

Since 1000 sq ft is equal to 333 CFT. So the cost of RCC per cubic meter = 210570 ÷ 333 = 632.34.

The RCC cost per cubic foot is approx 632 INR. This cost includes steel, cement, sand, aggregate, shuttering, labor, and machinery cost. This RCC cost is not the fixed cost. Because RCC cost can differ according to places, availability of materials, and many other factors.

RCC Slab cost per cubic meter

Since 1000 sq ft is equal to 9.42 cubic meters. So the cost of RCC per cubic meter = 210570 ÷ 9.42 = 22353.

The RCC cost per cubic meter is approx 22353 INR. This cost includes steel, cement, sand, aggregate, shuttering, labor, and machinery cost. This cost is not the fixed cost of RCC. Because RCC cost can differ according to places, availability of materials, and many other factors.
